Collection: Foraging Classes

Rowen Forest Outdoor School hosts immersive, hands-on workshops on public land within an hour’s drive of Portland. We move past basic plant identification to focus on deep, sustainable foraging ethics, real-time wild food processing, and the technical craft of bioregional preservation. Whether we are gathering wild berries for micro-batch syrups, rolling native leaves for traditional tea fermentation, or exploring the complex terpene profiles of Pacific Northwest conifers, our field workshops are designed to connect you directly to the seasonal rhythms of the forest and give you the practical skills to safely harvest, process, and taste the wild landscape.
